![]() ![]() they used to put scallions over it inside a few and no more. the choice of appetizer soup spring roll or duck roll I got the duck roll when I tell you they used a large pancake style tortilla after folding it six times there was a one and a half inch long chunk of duck inside. I was in the area and stopped him for lunch today. When I got home not only they didn’t give me the hoisin sauce which they charged me for but the chicken was as hard as a piece of stone you couldn’t cut it with a knife it was so hard and crisp. I ordered grandfather chicken which I always get I said don’t put the sauce on it put it on the side. And at least only one of us overpaid for a really lousy meal.I’ve been coming to Joe’s since 1985 when it was located in Philadelphia on 11th and race when they moved over to New Jersey and closed the one in Philly I started coming over here the food was always consistent and delicious it actually was getting better and better I took food home last week specified several times please hoisin sauce with the fried dumplings ,8I don’t want the house vinegar dip. I left with a soy sauce thirst, having spent $25.00 including tip for a really lousy meal. The entree came with two, count them, two florets of broccoli. I could not get the waiter to understand when I asked if I could have some more sauce. It came with very little of some garlic ginger sauce that also was heavy on the soy. Instead of being moist from the steaming, it was completely dried out. I can say it was the WORST steamed salmon I have ever had. Then there was my entree, steamed salmon for $15.00. My choice of sauces that was put in front of me: regular heavy sodium soy sauce or a chili paste in oil. There was absolutely no flavor to the shrimp. ![]() We went there once like 15 years ago, so I thought I would try it out again. ![]() ![]() Since my husband was away on a business trip, I thought I would try Joe's Peking Duck House, because they had whole steamed fish on the menu, market price, plus a whole steamed food section with some healthy options. ![]()
